Peter J Edmonds - President & Productivity Specialist

Peter started off as a Systems Administrator for a tool and supply company back in 1990 who was running their business on the Prophet 21 Computer System. Since then, he has helped companies "go-live" on P21, move systems to new locations, drawn procedures and trained personnel, while also maintaining all computer systems within each company.

In 1996, Peter started Edmonds Consulting. During this venture, he supplied support to local Bay Area Distributors operating on P21. Acting as a part-time administrator, he assisted with all aspects of computer management, including network management, business form design, web hosting and design, anti virus software distribution, management and much more.

Peter decided to start eMEKtek after seeing many other small business owners struggling with high priced services that many small businesses, home offices and individuals just can't afford, but services they require to stay competitive and better manage their business. He believes that these services can be delivered at reasonable rates while still maintaining quality services and products. He has partnered with seasoned professionals to provide a wide range of services and support for the small business, home office users to ease the workload and allow growth of your business, by increasing productivity.

"A square deal the year round." That was the motto of my grandfather, Nelson O. Edmonds. I remember as a child spending summers at his hardware store in Saratoga. He was a dedicated, hard-working, family and business man who taught me that if you apply yourself, give it your all, be honest and fair, not only to yourself, but to others, that you can accomplish anything.

I have tried to emulate that exact thinking into my daily, personal life and believe that by forming eMEKtek, I can bring that same philosophy to the business world and supply quality services to the small business. Karen has over 20 years of experience in computer technology. She is an expert in system hardware, productivity applications, system & network infrastructure, firewall and access security, domain management, SMB file services to client platforms, UNIX file services and application licensing. She has in depth knowledge of networking all operating platforms, with an emphasis on server-client, web-based internetworking and application building.

Jessie has years of experience working with clients to go through project planning, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting phases. Database Application Development: Business accounting system, science, and business application development, including Visual FoxPro, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Visual Basic, VB.NET, MS Access, MS Office, ASP/HTML, Crystal Report. Network: LAN and WAN network planning and implementation, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Exchange mail server, WINS, MSCS-clustering service, Active Directory, GPO, Terminal Server/RDP, VPN, ISA Server, Disk Array, Storage Area Network (SAN) configuration, Cisco PIX firewall and router, Netscreen firewall, etc. He has experience with Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, SBS 2000 Server, NT4.0 Server, Windows 9x/W2K/XP, MS DOS,  IBM AS/400, FBSD, and Linux.
